Julian Opie self portrait

Julian Opie is known for his Pop art and in pacific, the front cover of 'The Best Of Blur' album. Julian Opie has inspired thousands of people in this genre of art and I have decided to try and create my own version of me.To create my Julian Opie inspired me i found an image of myself and put it in photoshop.

I then went around each part of my face using the polygonal Lasso tool until my face was selected.

I then used

the eyedropper

tool to get the colour of my skin correct, so that the portrait of me in pop art looks quite accurate.

After i coloured these areas in with the paint bucket tool. I did this with all of the body parts (hair, top, facial features etc) and eventually, i was left with the above picture.
